We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The room was beautiful and had impeccable attention to detail, with even an iron and ironing board provided. The landlady was incredibly friendly and made us feel at home immediately. The bed was the most comfortable we've ever had in a hotel, resulting in the best night's sleep we've had in ages. The breakfast was delicious, particularly the sausages. The location of the hotel was fantastic, as it was within walking distance of just about everything we wanted to see. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I had a fantastic stay at a hotel located in the heart of the city. The location was perfect, with easy access to all the must-see attractions in the center of town. Staying at this hotel, which was nestled within a pub, allowed me to interact with friendly and welcoming locals.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome right from the beginning. The atmosphere in the hotel was great, especially with the live music on weekends. We were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of prosecco and a box of Ferrero Rocher waiting for us in our room, which made my girlfriend's birthday even more special. The hotel's recent renovation was evident in the well-equipped and comfortable rooms. The location was perfect, as we were able to walk to all the attractions this city has to offer, including being within a stone's throw of York Minster. Additionally, the late breakfast option until 11.30 am was a great convenience for us.

The room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed and just the right temperature. The breakfast was delicious and provided a good start to the day. The location of this hotel was perfect, being within easy walking distance of all the must-see attractions in this historical city. It was also situated in a refurbished tavern, giving it a unique and charming atmosphere. We enjoyed chatting with the friendly locals in the pub.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was superb, being very close to the centre of the city and within walking distance of all the attractions in this city. The cleanliness of the room was excellent, with nice, clean towels and bedsheets, and lots of free toiletries provided. The hotel facilities were well-equipped, including an iron for clothes. The breakfast was delicious, with just the right portions to start our day. But the standout aspect of our stay was the staff. They were extremely welcoming and helpful, even taking our bags up to our room when we arrived early for check-in. The guy working at the bar/reception was particularly kind and went out of his way to assist us.
There was nothing we didn't like.
